About us
Deuste Gas Solutions GmbH is a medium-sized company from the northern Black Forest region of Germany which has been active in the field of test and calibration gas production and the distribution of compressed gas cylinders, valves and fittings for over 40 years.
Until mid 2016, the company made products under the trade name Deuste Steininger GmbH in Mühlhausen/Kraichgau.
Following the construction of a new production site in Schönberg and subsequent relocation, the company changed its name to Deuste Gas Solutions GmbH.
This has provided us with the ideal conditions for continuous growth both in Germany and abroad.
History
1971 Foundation of Deuste Steininger GmbH in Merzig/Saar by shareholders Ferdinand Deutschbauer and Gerhard Steininger
1973 Relocation of company to Kriftel, near Frankfurt
1975 Relocation of company to Mühlhausen, near Wiesloch
1983 New building and purchase of new business premises
1992 Departure of Ferdinand Deutschbauer, Gerhard Steiniger takes over all shareholdings
2003 Heiner Keller joins the company and acquires a 100% shareholding as sole managing director
2005 Gerhard Steininger takes well-deserved retirement
2015 Positive development of the business requires expansion of production capacity – new building of a production facility and offices in Schömberg/northern Black Forest
2016 Relocation to the new production site and closure of the Mühlhausen branch
2018 Certification of the QM system DINENISO 9001 on the new site in Schömberg
